When embarking on the adventure of building a house in a sensitive environmental zone, minimizing the impact to the environment as well as wallets was a top priority. The house features:

• A rain water collection system
• Low UV windows
• Is composed entirely of environmentally friendly materials
• Upon its completion was rated as an Energy 5 Star home - the highest rating you can receive for a residential structure.  
• All outbulidings, gates, and infrastructure such as electric fencing, use solar power.
